I have a problem with my recently purchased 1999 infiniti G20. I have worked out plenty of issues that came with the car. Upon driving it home the last time it was drove anywhere it lost the grab on the transmission. The car starts, even without the clutch pedal pushed in. I can put itin any gear. If it is revved high, like 7-8 grand it moves ever so slightly in reverse and first. The linkage looks to be all intact. Any ideas on which way to go?

Sounds like a bad clutch. Check out this article to see if it can help:

What you are doing is spinning a shot clutch to such high rpm that it is beginning to engage due to centrifugal force.
Sounds like you might need a clutch.
