Have a 1999 v6 Honda Accord …. I just replaced both cam front seals .. I put everything back together and now it bairly wants to stay on and I hear valves clacking , I thought maybe after 10 sec it would go away but no so I shut it off . I looked to see if maybe timing was off but it’s all lining up right . I did spray some brake cleaner around the cam seals to put the new seals in and still has uv dye but I highly doubt that could be the problem . Any advice guys pls thank you .. No engine light on either video here… http://youtu.be/X7a9xBag4ew
I did do valve adjustments but this was 2 days ago and it ran very strong , no issues and then I tore it down to do the cam seals ….
Can a bad cam sensor cause this ?
When I was first trying to take the pulley off I tried using the 3/8 drive with a hammer to torque it out and the front pulley would move left a lot … After putting it all back together I made sure to put it back on the marks
