Filter hasn’t been changed in at least 12 years. Figured it was about time.

Now changing it was hard enough, oh my aching back, on my 1996 Integra. Had to lean way over and remove a bunch of bolts and getting it back on onto the hard steel line and tightening that on was pretty tricky.

NowI look on the Odyssey and the fuel filter is way down below the brake cylinder and snuggled into a small area. The bottom fitting is completely out of sight. Is there some trick to changing this short of taking a cutting torch to the fender liner?

If it’s serviceable then there is a way to get too it. Try from under neath, might have to pull some things out of the way to get to it, post a pic. I might be able to help you more.

In 1999 Honda switched to a ‘lifetime’ filter. That means it does not need to be serviced. However if you’re instant on it, use a crows foot on a long extension. BTW, make sure it’s a line wrench crows foot, if not, you’ll round it off and it will never come out. Personally, I’d leave it alone.
