Recently I done an engine swap on a Honda and ran into alot of problems as the customer brought in his own parts including an oil pump with a Japanese engine ( the pump was different but interchangeable only there is nowhere to attach the crank sensor on the pump). Long story short I was instructed to do a crank sensor delete that I found on several forums. I am very basic at electrical & diag. ,but I am trying my darn-dist to learn and understand as I go. This was a successful mission for me but i don’t understand one small detail that I was hoping someone could fill me in on. On the wiring diagrams the letters M and P appear after the component as well as for the drivers inside the pcm: CKF & CYP….does P stand for positive and M for ground/signal or vice versa. I doubt this is a signal line because its a speed sensor but….yeah
