      I hope this is the right forum for this question. I’m trying to find out if the engine in the Lumina a 3.1L has interference or non-interference heads. Thanks

        I assume you have the 3.1L V6 “L82” engine, considering the model and year. As far as i know this is a chain driven engine, and this means the manufacturer is less likely to specify if it is an interference engine or not (As timing chains are meant to last as long as the entire engine, it is considered less important information)

        But i would tread it like it is an interference engine if you suspect an issue with the chain, better safe then sorry.

          Its an interference engine buddy 🙂 so make sure you get those marks lined up right 🙂
