hello I have a 1999 cavalier i bought to fix and make a profit. so heres the story. I replaced the clutch and slave cylinder/throwout beraring and put it together and it was leaking, so i tore it all apart bought new parts because i bought the first one online. put it together, broke the clutch master cylinder. replaced it with a new one, started bleeding the clutch and it workes but its right off the ground, bled it some more, no effect. sold it to my brother. here is my issue… It wouldnt go into gear so i bled the clutch and it works but still releases close to the floor. well now its having the same issue going into any gears. i pump the pedal with the engine off for like 10 times and start the car, with the clutch pedal engaged and it will go into gear, release the pedal and press it again and it wont. i see a spot on the ground where fluid is leaking, im having my father come to press the pedal while i watch but was wondering if you guys had any ideas, im so fustrated I do not see any visible leaks from the line going from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder but the slave cylinder bleeder area is all wet, not sure if thats where its leaking, or thats from me bleeding it. any ideas?
Items i have replaced:
clutch kit
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder/Throwout beairng
