Just like the title says. I have a 1998 Toyota Camry 2.2L that has a couple issues.
First thing first is that, I can go to start the car cold and it will run decently for about 5mins (Until it warms up) After she’s warmed up, she stalls. Go to turn the key, starts right but up but then immediately dies. Replace the common IAC valve which did nothing. New fuel pump and filter, spark plugs and wires.

The computer did however throw off a few codes
P0450 – Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor/Switch
      P1300 – Igniter Circuit Malfunction No. 1
The other code was just Cylinder #1misfire.

But could these few codes cause it to stall when warm?
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am in need of getting this fixed soon. Any help is appreciated!

Yup… Cracked coil… A pattern failure for this car… look in the distributor…

From an older post I did:

Check your ignition coil in your distributor… These can go bad/crack and cause this issue… This is a known problem..

Here is a good link that talks about it… Note the crack in the pictures near where the coil says TOYOTA

Also about your P0450.. Check your gas cap seal.. if it is good, then you may need a new Switching Valve on your charcoal canister…

            I’m a bit confused. Distributor? On a 98 model 2.2L?

2.2L used a distributor… At least all the ones made for the United States… Go look for yourself… It will be to the right of the valve cover in sideways… Follow the wires…

Not saying you’re wrong. At least tell me what location to look for it underneath the hood? Having a bit of trouble haha!

Follow the spark plug wires to the right of the valve cover..

OK, you have a waste spark system… Disregard what I posted earlier… Those two are your coils… Check the ohms on them…

                      Try using this to test…

I will test them tomorrow! Do you think that the coil pack failure would result in it stalling?

                          Yes, it very well could…

The other problem is probably a bad gas cap seal or a switching valve near your Charcoal Canister…

I got the coils in today. Put them both on and sure enough, that was the problem! Purrs like a kitten now! Thank you so much!
