1998 Dodge Dakota hvac blower motor r&r
The question
Do you have to take the dash out and heater box to replace the blower motor I came across this diagram on the internet ?
Are can I take off the cover # 14 on the diagram .

Not knowing how close your dashboard / glove box is to the blower unit.
You may get enough clearance by removing the glove box.
You may need to remove Item 15.
Item 14 will need to be unscrewed then pulled back.
Issue is, if you have enough clearance to the dash board.
Same with the blower motor itself.
