      So my Civic died yesterday and would not start back. Also the button on the shifter wont move to allow me to shift into any gears. I have checked the stop switch light, main relay, timing belt and now am wondering what to check next. Im thinking to check the fuel pump.

        The line should prime. Try cranking it. Have you checked the
        fuel filter is not clogged?
