Hey everyone,
I’ve had a look in the diagnosing noises section of the site and can’t seem to find anything pertaining to front wheel drive axles on 4×4 vehicles.
I understand that my front axles turn even when in 2wd because they are always engaged to the wheel.
Is it therefore possible for a front CV axle to be making noise while turning sharply in 2wd?
I’m just trying to track down a clicking noise that seems to happen most during sharp left hand turns and is more prominent when turning sharply over bumpy ground.
Any help or info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tyler
