      Buddy of mine has a red 1998 chevy ss z28 camaro with the LS1 engine, 138,000 miles. It cranks over super fast but takes a long time to startup cold and the car hesitates when you accelerate, crappy gas mileage too. Car is giving out PO131, PO137, PO151 and PO157 codes. I think the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator is bad. Wiring could be bad too. The car has been sitting for awhile. We need to fix this car fast so he can smog it for registration. What and How should we go about fixing this. I dont have a fuel pressure gauge…. any common problems or advice someone familiar with these cars, i know its something super simple. Thank you

        Let’s take a look at the code translations;

        P0131 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor I)
        P0137 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor 2)
        P0151 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor I)
        P0157 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

        It looks like all 4 of your O2 sensors are throwing codes. The good news is that they are all throwing the same code and likely causing the symptoms you described. Here’s a video that touches on operating voltages of the O2 sensors:

        I also found THIS on how to diagnose a GM upstream O2 sensor. It’s for a different motor but the same parameters should apply.

        Once you know what kind of voltages you are getting you can start trying to track down a lean or rich condition.
