Hi,

My friend has no backup lights. He went to a parts store and they replaced both bulbs but they did not work. Is there a backup light switch on the transmission? I did not look at his car yet so I am not sure if is a fuse or relay or back connection. I am searching he internet for possible fixes. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

I would start by finding the fuse and checking that… The manual transmission versions should have a backup light switch… On an automatic, the signal for reverse is sent through a Park/Neutral switch.
