I bought a 1997 XJ back in November. It is a 4.0 auto, with an 8.25″ rear. It has about 222k on it, and I have no maintenance history on it. I’m planning on doing brakes on all four corners in a month or so. What would you recommend I also replace, with a budget of about $1000 after doing the brakes and an oil change. I was thinking of plugs/wires, coolant flush, diff oil, valve cover gasket, U-Joints, a suspension rebuild kit with track bar/tie rods/ ball joints/sway bar, and possibly wheel bearings. Should I do anything else when I do the brakes, like a booster/master?
