I have a 1997 Honda Accord 2.2 non Vtec I pulled a cylinder position sensor p1382 code I don’t believe the 97s have one im gonna go for the crank sensor .If you have any suggestions hit me up. Am I correct in saying the crank sensor ls located in behind the timing cover or am I incorrect on that thanks Tom

I believe the cylinder position sensor is located inside the distributor on that car. You need to test the resistance of the sensor but a lab scope would be better. If it tests ok then check the wiring all the way back to the PCM. If no problem is found then the PCM is the likely cause.
