1997 Chevy Blazer Fuel Gauge issue Re-post

Well.. the blazer fuel gauge is fixed! I replaced the resister part of the sending unit in the gas tank and the fuel gauge is working again. Hopefully this one last longer than the last one. Didn’t think I would be back in the tank so soon again. Thanks for all your input.

I am following up with my Blazer fuel gauge fix. I have driven about 200 miles and the fuel gauge is still working. It was defiantly the sending unit that was to blame. Here is my video attached taking about what I did and and I also attached a video regarding an actual fix for this very common problem of the sending unit resistor loosing good contact with the float causing the gauge not to read properly. My videos are the fist two then the last and third video is a fix that was created to fix this very expensive issue! Enjoy!
