my 1996 f250 with a 5.8l v8 has some throttle and idle issues, when i press the gas pedal it usally starts bogging down(low fuel pressue) and it stalls but sometimes if i quickly switch between fuel tanks it revs fine also when idling it starts out fine then it starts stalling then the engine revs back up and its fine for a little bit and it does it again. ive already replaced the fuel pump and filter. does anyone have an idea what it is? im thinking its the tps but not too sure

        Check your fuel pressure regulator.
Make sure the fuel pump switch is supplying consistent power to the pump.

Agree check your actual fuel pressure. The TPS can definitely cause a tip in hesitation and even stalling. Best way to check it is with a scope but its so cheap you could just throw another one on and recheck. I would check your actual fuel pressure to confirm its in specification first.

i checked it with a fuel pressure gauge before and after the new fuel pump, 24psi to 17 or 13psi(it dropped while reving the engine) i dont really remember the exact numbers and after replacing it, it was 33psi. checked it 2 weeks ago and its down to like 26psi or 22psi something like that.

Whats the pressure difference with your pressure regulator disconnected?
