Title pretty much sums it up, was sitting in my friends driveway getting ready to leave, put in in D4 an it started surging, finally it just died, hooked a volt meter to the battery an cranked it, 11.50 volts. Tried to jump it but that didn’t help, didn’t have the tools to start a decent diagnosis so its parked in his driveway for now

      Any help would be appreciated

defenetly low voltage too the battery, voltage should be 12.6 a little more or less give or take.

        here is this too

The battery is new, thank god its under warranty, will swap it out, would it be smart to check the spark plugs an fuel system?

did you check voltage after charge? yes its a good idea

the internal combustion engine needs three major things too run

            1 ignition
something too ignite the air fuel mixture like spark and at the correct time

            2 fuel
            something too burn

            3 air
mixes with the fuel a 14.7-1 air fuel mixture is ideal.

knowing these basics are the important steps, now your car tries too start right? it just stumbles and stalls correct? first i would put that battery on a slow charge and let the charger do its thing, then if that doesn’t work have a look at the plugs if its easy enough, then see what your fuel pressure looks like.

this video shows you how too test fuel pressure, if fuel pressure builds slowly, or is below spec than expect you have a weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.

Replaced the coil pack, that worked for about 4 days. Same issue as before, crank no start, going to return the coil pack an get a new one and also buy new plug wires

sounds like two thing’s is going on her as a honda owner my self . 1: main fuel relay . check to here if the pump is coming on and have fuel pressure and the fuel rail . the main fuel relay should make a clicking noise when come on . 2 : you could have a vacuum leek . check for cracked vacuum hoses and one’s that may have fallen off . try these and let us know if that has helped .

Whatever you do, don’t replace the fuel pump. They rarely ever go bad. That said, sounds like it might be a vacuum leak by the sound of it. I cover those extensively here.

You are getting no spark and going to check for vac leaks? 🙂 I bet it could be a bad ignitor. Check this out:

Replaced the Ignition Module, going to replace the plugs now, has plenty of spark when tested with a spark tester but faint spark when i test it with a spark plug

Fired up an runs but shutters badly, also has a small exhaust leak. Any ideas on what to check?

if that exaust leak is before primary O2 sensor, fix that first, because it may be a problem

Well I don’t recommend replacing more parts. 🙂 At least not until you find the problem.

As to the performance issue. This might help.
