I have a 95 civic that has a crank no start. My dad thinks its the injectors. Any ideas ?
i have fuel to the rail and spark.
I drove it and before shutting off the car i noticed it was running kinda odd, the next day i started the car drove half a mile and it would not start after that.

You said that you have fuel at the rail but do you have pressure? You said it has spark but where did you check for it?

If there is no fuel pressure I would be checking the Main Relay under the dashboard for broken solder joints. Very common.

Injectors seldom fail all at the same time.

i have spark at the plugs and i don’t have a pressure gauge but i cracked the bolt on the fuel filter like eric did in his video. Is this still where you would have me check ?

Yeah….that’s the right place to check for spark and fuel. Maybe you could borrow or rent a gauge.

Put a rag around the filter, crack the pressure release nut, turn the key on and if it squirts gas real well, then it’s not a fuel issue.

Given that, next look at the CPS (Crankshaft position sensor) as this is what was intermittent on mine. I’d wiggle the wire where it goes into the timing belt cover and it would fire right up. Busted wire right at the connector.

Easy replacement and ~$100 from Advanced and if you buy online, there are often 40% off coupons.

Thanks i will keep you up-dated
Just out of Curiosity What sends power to the fuel injectors ?

The computer will activate the injectors based upon the crank shaft position. If it doesn’t know which position the crankshaft is at, it can’t know when to activate the injector

Turned out to be a temperature sensor making it run too rich to start 60 dollars to fix
