I have a 1995 Honda Accord with 209,809mi on it. This car isnt driven as much anymore (maybe 1-4 times a month, least a few miles 2-5 getting it up to temp, some days i do a good amount of highway just cause i know a car that sits isnt good) cause i got a newer 2017 Ford Focus now. Working on making this the wifes car.

The issue I been having is as the temp gets hotter over time my car cant stay running at stop lights. It just… dies… doesnt even seem to bog just go straight to dead. I can keep it running if i pop in N and give it a tiny bit of gas and put in to D4 when im ready to drive while maintaining that small RPM. (like .5-1). Car hasnt stalled while driving, but the trans will heasitate and studder, (more like a rhummmm rh rh rh rh ummmm) kind of thing, similar to a rev limiter.

The transmission is setting a Code 14 if that helps give some direction.

The ECU has given me a few times a Code 21 for VTEC, the oil i use is the right kind and has been changed recently (I do it every 6 months) but i dont think a VTEC problem would cause a stall at idle. but recently its just been this code 14 in the trans.
