      Former owner simply pulled the fuse. But I would like working dome light. It is not the door switches. Saw a Youtube video where a guy cut one wire off of the GEM module and fixed the issue. But his harness is different from mine. Does anyone have the pin out of the GEM module or know what wire to cut?

        Does the dome light have a selector switch, for OFF, DOOR and ON?

        If so, I’d suspect the switch is fragged. You can try installing a dome light from a salvage yard. Can’t imagine that they’d be expensive.

        I wouldn’t consider snipping wires to fix something like this.

          Hi, Thanks. Considered this. But the dome light issue is a common flaw on Rangers. The delay dome light feature when you exit the vehicle goes bad and keeps the dome light assembly hot. Common issue posted all over the Ranger forums.
