OK, boys and girls, I need your help. I broke the pillar antenna on my ’94 Corolla. I purchased an OEM replacement, thinking it would be a simple fix. It isn’t. I removed the antenna screws and the radio, unhooking the antenna. However, the antenna cable was attached to the top of the instrument cluster near the radio opening on the dash. I managed to detach the cable there, but the cable still cannot be pulled either direction. It may be attached in some location that I can’t see, but I can’t imagine having to pull the entire dash just to replace the antenna. Any suggestions?

This is not a fun job… You will have to fish the wire back through the “A” Pillar…

Wish Toyota would have made the cable detachable at that pillar, but alas they didn’t….

        Good luck…

Thsnks, Karl. I anticipated the fishing expedition, but the cable will not pull either way. Something is preventing it from moving.
