      1994 s10 4.3 with automatic transmission, 108k miles….

My uncle took my truck, said he did a burnout and then the rear tires began jumping, after he left off, the truck would not go more than 10 MPH, something locks up and passenger rear wheel locks up.

No leaks, no odd noises when in gear. ABS light has been on for years. Still shifts smooth. No smoking of any kind.

Lifted rear tires, put in drive, both tires spin, no funky noises.. however when applying the brakes, the passenger rear DOES NOT stop. That tire only stops when PARKING BRAKE is applied. after that happens, and its released, the driver side does not spin now. it kind of moves a bit, like it wants to spin. I removed rear tires and inspected brakes..besides needing replaced, nothing was broken or looked out of sorts..

Please do you have any info on whats happening?

Sounds like something in the rear end is broke.

if rear end is damaged, would i be able to hear something ? or see any thing? i took rear drums off, started the truck and applied the brakes… this is what i saw.

It looks like only one shoe is coming out. maybe I misread, Thought only one wheel spun?
Do the wheels move without the brakes?

when in drive, and rear tires lifted, both spin. after applying brakes, driver side rear stops and does not spin after releasing brakes. passenger rear does not stop until parking brake is applied.. I posted elsewhere and they said to inspect rear brakes, and the video was in response to that

whats weird to me tho is when i did try to drive it, the passenger wheel is the one that locked up and skid while i was trying to accelerate..

Something let go in the rear diff. It may have some kind of limited slip device that is transmitting a small amount of power to get it up to 10 MPH but something has sheared away in there and it’s no longer functional. Probably sheared an axle shaft or stripped/cracked a spider gear spline, etc. The brake issue was probably pre-existing. Drum brakes being out of adjustment isn’t uncommon and may go unnoticed till you start looking for a problem. A sheared axle may still spin the wheel if there is no load (on jack stands) but may not be able to drive the vehicle at all.
