After changing out the half-shafts the ABS light now comes on when you drive it. Not at idle, only after the car starts moving. How do we trun this off?
      Thanks!

Some auto parts stores now have the ability to retrieve ABS codes so i would start there.

With ignition off, remove ABS fuse No. B2 for atleast 3 seconds. Install fuse, and turn ignition on. Observe ABS warning light. DTC are cleared if ABS warning light
goes out after engine is started. The ABS system wont set a code until the vehicle is moving faster than 3mph if its in the speed sensors, otherwise if it sets a code with just turning on the key its usually caused by a short or an open in the electrical circuit. Make sure you replaced the correct axle, some come with or without ABS options, the difference is usually with or without a reluctor ring installed on the outer cv joint.

Wow, that’s amazing that the ABS still works. Most of those cars that I’ve seen the ABS unit is toast and it’s not cost effective to buy a new one.

I suspect that the axle you installed might not have had a tone ring on it or perhaps the tone ring was damaged during installation OR the reman company damaged it so you might want to check for that if you find that you have a code for an ABS speed sensor for the wheel you just replaced the axle on. I cover this in my video on axle replacement.
