1993 Grand Prix issue

Hey everyone, i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with an issue i’m having with a 1993 Grand Prix, while at a stop in gear the car starts to choke and die’s out, it rarely does it in gear, but 99% of the time at a stop light it will die out, start’s right back up, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
