      I’ve replaced:
      All four temp sensors/switches
      Thermostat
      Water pump
      Radiator
Tried a new relay, didn’t resolve the problem so I put the old one back

The issue: idle speed and high traffic temp raises too high, cooling fan does not turn on when it should – will turn on but only when the gauge indicates up near the red (about 95% toward the red)

      Any guesses? 🙂

Until you can fix the actual problem, when it starts to overheat you might try hitting the A/C switch. This might turn on the cooling fans even though the AC compressor may not run when it is cold out. At least it will help cool things a little. My room mate does that on her Grand Am (though it has very serious cooling issues which we need to mess with.)

Just when the engine is idling and hood up, hit the AC switch and see if the fans come on.

This is not a solid solution may buy you a little time.

I have been able to buy time by running the a/c but I’d like to get this issue resolved as I’d like to sell the car soon.
About the parts: the switches & sensors were not Honda parts, but reputable brands.
The only thing that makes sense is maybe the temp switch I replaced went bad somehow

Does anyone know of any way to test the sensors & switches WITHOUT a back probe? 🙂 I have a meter but no back probe attachments…
