      Was changing oil on my sister in law’s Honda Accord EX…And noticed the exhaust manifold is up front behind the radiator….Any reasoning for this?

        Its also dependent on the vehicle manufacturer as well with it having a transversely mounted engine.

        An example is, my old Nissan Sentra with the QR25DE had the exhaust manifold on the front. My old MK3 Golf with the 2.0ABA had the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine.

          I believe its because its a transverse engine.(the engine is put in side ways)
