Greetings!
About a week ago the camshaft sheared off right before the cam pulley. The engine died immediately (obviously). After tearing the thing apart and determining that the valves and pistons were ok (lucky girl that I am), I have gone on the hunt for a replacement f22a6 camshaft to no avail. I was wondering if I would be able to replace it with an f22a1-a4 camshaft and NOT have the f22a6 ecu go haywire trying to figure out/correct the difference in cam profile. Any help with this would be just ***so*** appreciated!

As luck would have it, I found a an f22a6 cam on ebay for 60 bucks out of a running (well…before the transmission quit) EX…comes with the cam pulley too! I never thought I’d get that lucky! 🙂
