      Hello Everyone,

I have a 1991 Crx si, I was working on my ac, I mistakenly jumped the temp coolant sensor with a paper clip when the engine was cold . then I started to here a hissing noise from fuel injection , now the cel is on, car won’t start , checked spark plugs and they are soaked with fuel, I took out spark plugs dried them and let car sit for couple hours still no start , what is that hissing noise, any ideas what happened and what I can do to get it started.

My CRX has a led light on the ECU that will show error codes , I lifted carpet , watched the light for about a minute , it stayed solid red, not sure if that means, faulty ecu?

Jumped connector and its solid red no blinks, another thing is when i tried to start the car there was a strong fuel smell and air, hissing noise from fuel injection area, its flooding I guess. How can jumping the coolant temp sensor disable the car ?

Sounds like you may have shoted the ecu or the module for the injectors.
