Looking for a budget priced tranny pan with a drain plug .
Stamped steel , standard capacity OK .
Looking to do a pan drop w/ filter change . With Valvoline MaxLife ATF in the red 1 gallon jug from Walmart .
I think this is synthetic and recommended for Dexron III & Dexron VI .

Fluid choice will work and you can add a drain plug to your existing pan for a few dollars and drilling a 1/2 hole
Photo shows a gasket . I guess it could go inside the pan , but not knowing how the gasket material would tolerate transmission fluid , outside the pan ?

WyrYes , That was my intention . I was just musing about if the gasket went inside or outside the pan ?
The video showed putting the drain plug on the side of the pan . I had rather have it on the bottom of the pan so it would drain more fully . But the video discussed it being damaged by dragging . Which I was wondering about .
The photos of after market pans w/ drain plugs were low profile , on the bottom . If I can find one in my price range , I would prefer that
