stalls when coming to a stop. When it stalls, there is no rough idle. Anyone familiar with these distributors? It has actually gone through 3 new distributors. Anyone know what would cause the distributor to keep failing besides oil leakage? There is no check engine light on.

Step one, don’t assume it’s the distributor. Unless you have proof that something is bad don’t condemn it. You could have a vacuum leak or perhaps an idle air control valve problem. Start by checking for vacuum leaks and if you have any check engine lights pull the codes and begin your diagnosis there.
