1990 Honda Accord LX Starts, Shuts Down, and Starts Fine again.

Today was a warm day, I drove about 20 minutes to store around the city when it was time to leave I turn the car on and heard an odd sound(weak start) coming from the hood, soon after the car starts to roughly shake for about 7 seconds then the car shuts off completely, I try starting the car again and this time it starts normal without a strange noise and without any shakes, I was able to drive back home without any problems. I asked a friend on what might be the cause for this and he told me that I might need new spark plugs.
I want to know what you guys think might be the problem and solutions to the problem. Thank You!
