      I have a 1.9 ltr. with cfi,i have replaced diaphram in thottle body but car won’t start when it is cold until i put gas in the throttle body, then it starts and runs fine the rest of the day, until the next morning and i have to prime it again.thanks.wildwilly 🙁

        This old car have a carburetor in It. So might need to clean your carburetor, because you car world all day when It’s still have a hot engine. You might have dirty gunk inside. You need also to inspect the air filter to change It if It’s not white clean. You can buy the factory workshop repair manual for you car here to gain knowledge where the parts are.

                if I were you I would put a fuel pressure gauge on it when it was cold and then turn the key to the run position and check and see if the fuel pump kicks on. If not I would look at the fuel pump relay, it may not be operating correctly.

                  durango,thanks for the help i finally found the problem,it was a kink in the rubber gas line on top of the fuel tank.

                    How did the fuel line become kinked.
                    were you in the fuel tank?

                      when i first got the car it wasn’t running and i dropped the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. it was kinked a little then but i didn;t fix it so it came back to bite me.
