My friend and I came across a 79 RamCharger that we would like to fix up and run again. It’s in really good condition with like 71XXX miles. What do you recommend our first steps are to check it over before we try to turn it over, and then what else we should look for once we get it running again. Thanks for everything you do, I really appreciate all of your tips as I do a lot car work here at home on three cars.

I’ve seen the videos a while back, but it did give a few ideas to start with. But I’m looking for like is there anything to do with the gas and/or carburetor before trying to start it? It’s been sitting a long time and could possibly even be locked up for all I know. I guess when we get a chance to look at it more closely I can see what’s up with it.
