(Skip to paragraph 2 to start hearing issuesI’m working on a 79 Bronco that has sat for a while (since 01) but I am in the process of getting her back on the streets again, the truck is to the stage of running and driving, now the lighting and I’ll be on my way.

I have no brake lights or rear hazards, however the blinkers both ways are functioning fine. I have been test probing this truck for 3 days straight trying to locate this issue. I know I have power to the brake switch and it is functioning as intended. I know the hazard switch seems to be functioning as well as the flasher for it, however just the fronts blink. I am at a loss. Any input with be greatly appreciated

      Thanks
      ~Ryan

        Just a thought…
I see you have a trailer setup.
Might inspect the trailer harness and connection(s) on the vehicle for corrosion and / or damage.

I usually agree here but truck is what they call a “Trailer special”, it’s a factory installed harness, I’ll still check it out though

FOUND THE ISSUE, the blinker switch had gotten internally hot enough to melt the plastic around a peice of spring steel that was used to make the contacts and lose connection

            Thanks for the help though!
