I have a 1968 429 ford Thunderjet that I am thinking about putting into my 1979 Bronco. I was wondering about different approaches to cleaning it up and “rebuilding” it. I don’t have the funds to send it out for a full rebuild so I would like some help figuring out what course of action I should take.

It all depends on the condition it is in.
Does the crank turn? Have compression? Engine run? Burn oil?
