      iI have a driveline that came off a 72 Maverick. My issue is Clearance for the yoke. It Touches the floor board. Im. Thinking 2 inches dropping it down with big square washers. It looks too high too me. What do you think?

          what about a lower profile mount? Trying to use what I have if I can. a smaller Yoke means another driveshaft

            A couple of things to note. If you lower the back of the transmission it may change the driveline angles adversely. It will also change the fluid levels in both the engine and transmission. This may or may not be a concern, I suppose it depends on how much they change. That said, I would suggest using either a different slip yoke, or ‘massaging’ the floor to make it fit. If you don’t need a lot of clearance, this might be the way to go.
