      Hi guys,

I am due for an oil change at 10,089 miles on my 2013 CR-V AWD. I was checking the multi-information display under vehicle information this afternoon to see what needs to be done and it is showing a B16 code (engine oil and filter, tire rotation, rear differential fluid change). Should I go ahead and let the dealer change the rear differential fluid at this time or can it wait until 15,000 miles or the 30,000 mile service? Thanks for your help.

Rear differential fluid change every 10,000 miles seems a little overboard to me. Every 30K makes more sense. I would, however, check the level. Maybe that’s what they mean.

I would check with the dealer on that. If it needs to be changed to maintain the warranty I would do it or have it done.
