Hi guys I’m curious if during idle, it’s normal for the rpms to fluctuate 10-15 rpms +/- or if it’s supposed to be steady constantly?

My tach doesn’t pick this slight change but with my wifi obd2 scan tool I can see it.

I also see engine timing fluctuate a couple degrees as well as 02 sensor.

Is this all normal? I’ve been trying to tackle a slight engine shake at idle but everyone’s been telling me it’s normal just want to get more opinions. Thanks!

The idle can be + or – 50 rpm and be normal. Also normal for the timing to adjust and the o2
        to fluctuate.

What do you mean it can be + or – 50 rpm?

Idle example. Idle is 750 rpm. the idle can go to 700 or 800 without seeing a problem.

Are idles ever completely steady/constant or do they all cars fluctuate slightly?
