I have a 09 Altima with 109K miles on it. The TPMS light blinks and then stay solid when I start the car. According to the manual that means there is a failure in the system. The most likely issue being that one of the sensors quit working. So I take it into the tire shop to get it fixed. They check everything, don’t find any problems and rest the light. A mile down the road the light starts blinking again so I turn around and take it back. They don’t find anything wrong this time either but one of the sensors was responding slower than the rest so I get it replaced on the chance it is the problem. A mile after leaving the shop the light comes back on. So now I’m stumped. Do you think I should take it to the dealership and get them to reset the light? Or is it more likely to be another sensor that is damaged and quits responding when in motion?
PS. I bought the car with the light on so I don’t know when it originally stopped working.
