Hi all, need some help.
I have a 2008 Honda Civic LX AT with 150k miles on it. I cleaned the throttle body with someone pressing on the gas to open the throttle plate. I used a shop towel soaked in throttle body cleaner and wiped out all the carbon trying not to touch the throttle plate.
After I’m done I tried the idle learn by disconnect battery for 10 mins and then key on for 2 seconds and 3000rpms till fan comes on then idle for 5 mins.
It’s still idling high @ 1,200 RPMs. and doesn’t drive too smooth. Got CEL and code P0507
Does anybody have any suggestions? I would hate to bring to dealer and spend $100-$200 for them to just program my car.
