I figured since there seems to be alot of Honda guys on this forum I’d ask for some pointers. Next week I’ll be replacing the clutch in an 08 Civic and I was just wondering what to expect. I didn’t even see the car, so I don’t know what I’m in for. I will be using all Honda parts and I’m gonna have the flywheel resurfaced. Tools are no problem as I have a lift in my garage, plenty of air tools and have an engine stabilizer bar that I’m sure is needed. I’ve replaced countless clutches, just never a Honda. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Based on your description of tools and experience I don’t think you’ll have any issues. Honda’s are pretty easy to work on in my opinion. You don’t need a great deal of tools and most things are accessible. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
