Otherwise just get a bigger hammer. My father-in-law was an old Ford mechanic, and he’d always use a HUGE sledgehammer to get the brake drums off. Worked. Not a pretty sight, but it worked.
Unlike the Honda rotor, there is no screws on the Nissan Versa rotor.
How can you use a HUGE sledgehammer without damaging the rotor?
If I am going to replace the rotor, I will try that.Think of what happens when the wheel hits a pothole. There are thousands of pounds of force pulling on the wheel studs and by friction, on the rotor center hub. A 5 or 10 pound hammer is small potatoes by comparison.
Don’t use the hammer on the rotor gripping rim, instead hit the center hub, on the sides so you don’t mash any studs.

The bigger the hammer, the chance of hitting the studs are higher.
Do you put the wheel nuts back on the studs to prevent damaging the thread or bending the studs?Hit the outer circumference of the brake rotor inner hub. That is typically 1 to 2 inches wide, very thick, and dents in it don’t matter in the slightest. If you can’t hit that without hitting a stud instead, it’s time to sober up a bit.
