see if this helps. Looks like the fuel sending unit is
the problem.thanks for the info college man but it still leaves me hanging as this vehicle has 2 gas level sensors one on the left side and one on the right side of the tank I would like to know if there is a way to identify which sensor is bad .Dont want to be a parts changer plus from what I understand the sensors are not interchangeable. Can a scanner identify which sensor is the culprit.
according to the parts list the fuel sending unit on the fuel pump.

According to this picture and some nissan forums there is two sensors, even partsgeek list two sensors one marked left and one marked right for a murano
Here is the factory service manual. It does not mention left
or right. You got me on this one. page ec 469
