hi everyone
my cousin has a 2.2 cdti accord and lately its started to have a rattle from the engine after some thinking were putting it down to the timing chain as the car has 250000 miles on it. But we have both been looking all over the internet and can not find a how to. Its not really for the how to, I just want to see is there any special tools required to hold tensioners, lock the crank/ cam in place or remove pullies to carry out the work. Anyone have any experance off doing the timing chain in this engine your help will be great as I do not want to start this job and realize I need a special tool half way through (I mainly work on vw’s and have no experance on Hondas) any input would be great banana:

I didn’t quite have problem finding info.
Strike free account with Autozone. I guessed on car model, as they have it broken down by EX, LX, VIP, etc. Have at it.
Btw, for the job, a repair manual is only about $20 and, lord save, library is less than that,
