I have limited all other what could have been problems to all good, Now I’m looking at the neutral safety switch which the wife has said it sounds like it’s in neutral when I rave on the gas to move and I don’t get no feel to when it goes into gear… Gear shift is all good, new transmission fluid all new, new mass air flow sensor, which I known on this 06 escape the is under the battery, right!
Could this had been my problem all this 3 weeks of hell.

All thought are welcome, Could this be what’s been holding my car back from moving?

I have read your other posts and I am still a little unclear on a few things.

I believe you said you recently did a transmission fluid change.

I assume this is an automatic transmission and you can start the vehicle.

I assume you can change the gears on the gearshift and there is no change in sound of the engine or anything.

The neutral safety switch is merely to let the ECU know that the transmission is either in park or neutral and the engine can start.

The MAF measures your air intake and tells the ECU how much fuel to add for a proper condition. The MAF will not effect your ability to shift.

Since you cannot move the car, I would wonder if you have checked your Transmission fluid level. If it is too low, nothing will happen when you put it in gear… It will be like the car is in neutral… I advise you to check your fluid level on a nice flat surface… Consult your owners manual if the fluid should be warm or cold when the fluid level is checked.

        Good luck

And one more thing to add to karls post if you replaced the trans filter make sure it was good and tight because if its loose the trans will suck air instead of fluid i see that problem alot and the vehicle wont move
