Hello, several weeks ago I replaced my timing belt. To accomplish this one of the other belts I had to remove/inspect/put back on was my power steering belt. Now when the car is cold, the first couple of turns, coming out of the driveway, I can feel the power steering jerking, like it stops working momentarily. Is it possible that I didn’t get the proper tension on the belt when I put it back on the pump? Assuming that’s it, do you guys think I got it on too tight, or too loose? It’s not making any noise, and once it warms up, i.e. within 2m or so, it works just fine and again doesn’t make any noise cold or warm.
Thanks in advance – I know I’ll get some great suggestions here as always.
