      Hello All,

My uncle has a 2005 Infiniti fx35 with around 140k miles on it. Every now and again the car will not start (engine turns over). It will start with a jump. Both the battery and alternator have been tested several times and both checked out, and the starter was replaced late last year. I checked for a parasitic draw on the battery and did not find anything. A few months ago the car was involved in a small fender bender, and soda was spilled onto the center console. Since then the radio has no longer worked and this problem has popped up. No check engine light on either. I have no clue what could be causing this issue and I’m thinking about pulling out the center console to see if there’s anything obvious. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Check out your fuses to make sure you everything checks out.
I’d pull the center console and check out what’s going on with the radio if the problem started at the same time it could possibly be connected.

Other than that my first main thought is that a fender bender may have broke one of your engine’s grounds to the frame, It’ll have a ground but not a strong enough ground to start.
That’s assuming you’re jump starting the engine the “proper” way, and not just jumping it with both the positive and negative leads going straight to the battery.
