Ok so im getting miss on cyl 1,2, and 3 and a random miss code. I can not figure it out its been to the shop acouple times for it to come back out runnng smooth for a month or two. But last year head gasket was replaced and head machined as well as plugs and coils replaced and just recently had a coil replaced because it was missing ran good for a week and one day started it and it missing so bad it could hardly climb a little hill. I just need this problem solved asap. Any suggestions? will upload video of how it sounds later (also alittle more details later im in a rush) Thanks in advance

First, it’s not common for that engine to need a head gasket and those repairs. The fact that someone has been in there adds new possibilities to the problem. If things were not connected correctly or put back together properly, then it might be the cause of the problem. That’s the first place I might start and look over all the work that was done. Outside of that you might want to read through the article that College man posted as it has many suggestions on how to deal with issues like this.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Well what besides the wires may cause the coils to go so fast? I dont remeber off the top of my head what brand was put in it when they where done. I have looked at the links but havent been able to check the car out yet and also dont remember much of what was in them but i dont think this topic of possible reasons why the coils keep going was in it but correct me if im wrong. Also Thanks both of you

The problem may have nothing to do with the coils. What I was suggesting was a possible mechanical issue causing the problem which is why I recommended that article.
