Car info: 2003 Ho da civic EX 138,000 miles.
I have been experiencing an over heat problem- particularly when drving at highway speeds about 15 mins into the drive. The temp guage will slowly rise up, ill turn on fan until I can sasafely pull over. Once I stop the vehicle, lots of white smoke comes out from under the hood and collant drips- which forms a lovely expensive liquid puddle(exaggeration).
I took it to the mechanics, he pressure tested the cooling system, and no signs of a major leak. He wants tk take it to a smog shop to have the system cheeked for combustion gases? He believes gasket might have a crack.
oil is normal color and no excessive white smoke out of tail pipe.
Help?
