Having trouble with a repair here’s the story. 03 F-150 had a check engine light on with trouble code stating misfire on cylinder 2. Checked all spark plug and determined they needed to be replaced; after replacing them all engine started fine with no trouble codes. Next day truck would not start and had trouble code stating misfire on cylinder three. Check coil and replaced it. Motor ran fine at this time. Next day truck would not start, it would try to roll over it seemed that it was locking up. Removed all spark plugs rotated engine over and fuel gushed from cylinder 2. I pulled the fuel rails off and checked the injectors, seemed like two injectors were not working, cylinder 2 and 7. Replaced all injectors they were rusty and the truck has some miles on it after all were replaced truck ran fine with a little smoke after a while the smoke went away (smoke did not smell like antifreeze). Following day the truck still had the same symptoms pulled the spark plug on cylinder 2 and fuel came out again. Check the voltage at the electrical connector and had proper voltage and good ground. I’m stumped at this point, could ECM be transmitting faulty signal to injector causing it to always turn on filing cylinder with raw fuel or maybe possibly short to ground or power? Just looking for advice on what to tests to perform to find possible fix, and help is appreciated.
